Rossland Energy Crawl - Saturday October 21st from 12 noon- 4 pm

Tour local homes with energy saving designs and technologies!

Are you considering installing solar panels?  Are you wondering if air source heat pumps work in our colder climate?  Are you considering energy conservation renovations for your home but don’t know where to start? Maybe you are thinking about buying an electric vehicle?

Then join the Sustainability Commission for the second annual Rossland Energy Crawl on Saturday October 21st.

Visit host homes between 12noon and 4 pm and learn about innovative energy conservation and energy generating technologies.   From air source heat pumps, to photovoltaic solar panels and electric vehicles, learn about the pros and cons of different technologies from other homeowners.

Drop by the Energy Crawl Headquarters at the Rossland Library and check out some visiting Electric Vehicles - Tesla, Bolt and Leaf.  The vehicle owners will be on hand to show you their vehicle and talk about their Kootenay ownership experience.   Get some advance info here http://kootenayevfamily.ca/

Interested in touring a solar home?  And get a free LED lightbulb?   Calculate your carbon footprint using our on-line calculator.   Print out your results.   Bring this to Energy Crawl Headquarters at the Library and we will give you a free LED lightbulb and a pass to visit a Rossland Solar Home.  Click here to go to the carbon calculator.
