Public Workshop: Preserving Family Heirlooms

May 25 1:30 to 3:00 pm

This workshop is open to everyone who wants to learn about properly preserving and storing their family's heirlooms. All artifacts, photos, and documents  deteriorate over time, but with good practices and proper materials, you can slow down this process and preserve your keepsakes and memories for many years. We will be discussing proper handling, storage, and materials for preservation and displaying of objects.  The workshop will be presented by museum professionals, so if you have any questions about properly preserving your heirlooms bring them along to the workshop!

Located in the Rossland Seniors Centre. Entry by donation. Refreshments will be available.

This workshop is made possible thanks to the support of the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance.
