The Hillties at Kootenay Savings Music in the Park Night Market

Kootenay Savings Music in the Park's Night Market brings the heat with The Hillties, and opening act Tim Hurley and the Vultures!

Enjoy music, food and good cheer as we add Food Trucks, a Market and a Beer Garden to complement our live music! 

The second Night Market evening from 4-8 pm on August 16 will see the amazing, energetic The Hillties bring their blend of ska/reggae and funk to Trail. Their high-energy live shows make you get up and dance! Opening will be Tim Hurley and the Vultures, whose fusion of soul, roots and, reggae is inspired both by his Caribbean and British roots, and musical influences like Neil Young, the Beatles and Bob Marley.

Trail & District Arts Council is super excited about partnering with Trails Incredible Farmers Market on our Night Markets, where you will enjoy seasonal fruits and veggies, fresh baked bread and artisanal food from the best food trucks and vendors in the area. The amazing market vendors will also include fabulous local artists, designers and craft-makers. All available 4-8 pm!

There's something for everybody - come out to picnic, grocery shop, take in some music, dance and celebrate summer together outdoors.

Music in the Park happens every Thursday (and two Tuesdays) until August 30. With entrance by donation, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to get outside and listen to some live music. We are thrilled to be bringing in artists from Jazz, to Bluegrass, to Funk, to Rock and Roll - Music in The Park will surely have something for everybody!

Bring a lawn chair. Admission is by donation - $2 minimum suggested.
