100% Renewable Energy discussion at the Legion

January 18 6:30 to 8:00 pm  Come learn about what 100% Renewable Energy means in Rossland! The West Kootenay EcoSociety is encouraging communities across the West Kootenays to commit to transitioning to 100% Renewable Energy by 2050 within heating and cooling, electricity, transportation and city operations at the community level. On Monday January 21st we are presenting our motion with the Rossland City Council in hopes that they'll join the City of Nelson, the Village of Slocan, and the RDCK in the movement to 100% Renewable Energy. What does this mean? What could this look like? Come out to the Legion Friday January 18th at 6:30pm to learn about the West Kootenay EcoSociety and our 100% Renewable Kootenays campaign!
