JOE HILL COFFEE HOUSE- SUNDAY, JANUARY 20

On Sunday, January 20, Joe Hill Coffee House brightens up the New Year with another great show featuring talent from far and near. Come and hear these fine performers (and eat goodies, and hang out in a nice place):

  • Troy Isaacs – 11-year-old singer/guitarist from Salmo; pop tunes, with a magic loop pedal and percussion

  • Stew Ford and Friends – Cool things from the 80’s, by an (almost pure) acoustic trio

  • Trish Jamieson – Singer and songwriter, Whistler’s loss, Rossland’s gain

  • Julia Halbert – From pop to show tunes, a great voice

  • Clive Calderbank - A Joe Hill premiere; covers of Cat Stevens, Steve Earle, and more

  • Jeff Melnychuk – Come from the North to sing and pick

We’re in the Rossland Legion, 2081 Washington Street.

It’s a family-friendly venue – lots of goodies and happiness, no bar.

Admission is a mere $3 – kept affordable by our all-volunteer crew, and the generosity of the Rossland Legion. Thanks to all! (Proceeds from Joe Hill Coffee House help support the Rossland Council for Arts and Culture; proceeds from sale of goodies help support the Gold Fever Follies.)

Doors open at 6:30 PM; the show starts at 7:00. See you there!

NOTE: We have rescheduled our April and May shows to better coordinate with the regional music scene. Here are the new dates for Joe Hill this winter and spring: January 20, February 24, March14, April 28, May 26, and June 16. Make a note!

Joe Hill Coffee House is always looking for new performers – young and old, beginners or polished. All welcome; no auditions. It’s where you can relax and perform for the best audience anywhere. For more information contact Les Carter at les@rosslandrange.org, 250-362-5677. Thanks!
