We are celebrating Rossland Winter Carnival in a big way this year!
Friday and Saturday - the Museum is open by donation from 11am to 5pm. Come check out whats new, play in the discovery zone, do a scavenger hunt, play and paint in the snow!
Hot chocolate/coffee/treats will be available!
Saturday Events:
11am to 12pm - Snowshoe & Snow Science tour with Kootenay Gateway (Call/email the museum to RSVP - if you need to rent snowshoes, Kootenay Gateway has 6 adult pairs for $10 each)
12pm to 3pm - Snowman-making competition
Come take over the lawn to build your best snow-person/snow-object/snow fort - whatever you'd like! We'll have plenty of goofy hats, carrot noses, and snow paint
Prizes provided by cabine, Royal Theatre Trail, and the City of Rossland
12pm to 3pm - Cabane a sucre - indulge your sweet tooth with our maple taffy station - by donation
