Kootenay Savings Music in the Park Trail 2019

The Trail & District Arts Council is very excited to bring you Music In The Park once again this year.  With entrance by donation, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to get outside and listen to some live music.  We are thrilled to be bringing in Artists from Jazz, to BlueGrass, to Funk, to Rock and Roll - Music in The Park will surely have something for everybody!

This year's Music in the Park has something new - Night Markets on July 18 from 5-9 pm and August 8 from 5-8.30 pm! The market is hosted by Trail's Incredible Farmers Market and will feature an Adult Only Beverage Garden! The first Night Market on July 18 will feature The Lester McLean band, who will perform from 7-8.30 pm, with opening act Brad Lee Whiplash & The Werewolves of Thunder starting at 6.30 pm!

These weekly concerts will be held at Trail's Gyro Park every Thursday starting at 7 p.m, except on Night Market dates  (Thursday July 18 and August 8th) when the event will run from  5-9pm.

Bring a lawn chair. Admission is by donation - $2 minimum suggested.

June 13: Trail Maple Leaf Band, Trail Pipe Band, Scotties School of Highland Dance

June 20: Ron Halliday Band - swing, old-time favourites

June 27: Diamond Willow - old-time country, folk, country-rock

July 4: Plan B - rhythm & blues

July 9: Fiddle Camp Jam - Instructors from across Canada make music together (Tuesday)

July 11: Willy Blizzard - Canadiana, folk-roots covers and originals

July 18: Lester McLean Band - soul, rhythm & blues with Tony Ferraro on drums. Opening act Brad Lee Whiplash & The Werewolves of Thunder- Night Market event from 9 pm with food trucks, market and beer and wine garden, in association with Trail's IncrEDIBLE Farmer's Market. 

July 25: Devils You Don’t - jazz, soul, pop, and R&B

Aug. 1: Holly Hyatt Band - blues and R&B

Aug. 8: Locarno Band, featuring Tonye - a groove heavy mix of Mexican folk, Cuban son and latin soul - Night Market event from 5-8.30 pm with food trucks, market and beer and wine garden, in association with Trail's IncrEDIBLE Farmer's Market. 

Aug. 15: Blue Crush - clean, straight-ahead, melodic rock

Aug. 22: Hairlöss - rock hit covers from the past and present

Aug. 29: Old -Time Fiddlers
