“Canada’s triple threat Michael Kaeshammer earns critical acclaim and a growing fan base with his piano virtuosity.” – Hollywood Reporter

Kaeshammer’s passion for writing, performing and producing exceptional music is abundantly clear, with flavours of jazz, boogie-woogie and blues combined with passion and meticulous detail. Kaeshammer is unafraid of crossing genre boundaries and uses his many influences to take the listener along on a memorable journey.

The prolific Vancouver Island-based jazz pianist is an internationally acclaimed musician who has earned a loyal international following as a triple threat. He's a piano virtuoso with a technical mastery of many different styles, an eloquent singer/songwriter as well as a charming and engaging performer. Michael Kaeshammer's loyal legions of fans around the globe have come to expect the unexpected from the BC-based pianist/singer/songwriter/producer. Unconstrained by genre barriers and any music industry pressures, he follows his own muse, creating work designed to stimulate and satisfy himself, first and foremost. A spellbinding artist, Kaeshammer’s performances are intimate and inviting affairs, whether in a small club or a large theatre.

His show features a quartet performing a range of his original workold favourites, and explores his latest album, “Something New”, a new musical adventure recorded in the heart of New Orleans. Produced by Michael himself it features 10 original songs about love, life, travel and politics. As “Something New” illustrates in compelling and entertaining fashion, Michael Kaeshammer is an artist in complete control of his sound and vision. Following this creative journey continues to be a richly rewarding experience.

Michael Kaeshammer's recording career now spans 22 years and 12 albums. He has won two Juno Awards, and has multiple Western Canadian Music Award nominations, winning as both Musician of the Year and Entertainer of the Year and, in 2017, for Jazz Artist of the Year.
