Postnatal Yoga & Self Care

~ A 6 week series for moms of babies and/or toddlers ~

Resilience is the ability to recover or "bounce back" from challenges or difficulties, and to say motherhood can be a challenge is an understatement. Our goal in this series is to build resilience through self care practices, self awareness, and the physical practice of yoga.

We will blend yoga, beginner meditation, mindfulness techniques, journaling, and discussion as we build on skills to deal with stress and expectations while increasing patience, compassion, and empathy.

The yoga and movement component (approx 30 min of each class) will focus on pelvic floor health and yoga for relaxation. The self care component will explore simple practices to take home with you so you can enjoy and be fulfilled by this journey of motherhood. This series will also be an opportunity to support and connect with other moms in our community.

A common question I'm getting is if the littles are coming for this series. And no, it's a baby/kid free series. Post-bedtime mom time :)

Can pregnant women come or is specifically for postnatal?

Hi Sierra,

It's not prenatal specific but pregnant women are more than welcome as much of the content will be great to have during pregnancy and during the transition to having a little.

This course is still a couple weeks away but already about half full so make sure you register in advance to get a spot. Space is limited.

stoked!!!  Prenatal Yoga Series coming at Madhu soon too!

Only a handful of spots left.  Also hoping to set up a weekly park meet up for any parents and tots to join in on too. Keep posted for more info on that. Will start around the same week as this course.

This series starts NEXT week

Only 4 spots left. It's looking like an amazing group of mommas coming together :)

Starts THIS Tuesday! There's room for a couple last minute mommas but make sure to sign up asap!

It is necessary to be in touch with your gynecologist for ensuring a better postnatal care, and don’t start doing heavy and don’t start doing heavy exercises without seeking expert advice. Make sure- Can a gynecologist be a PCP?

Can't wait for prenatal yoga!
