Youth Technology Clerk

 The Rossland Public Library is hiring a high school student to provide support with technology.

This will include planning and presenting programming for children, assisting patrons with ebooks on a variety of devices and providing staff with advice on providing help to patrons.  As well as working with the Library’s computers, e-services and coding tools, the Clerk will also be expected to perform regular circulation tasks such as checking items in and out, shelving materials and assisting patrons in finding materials.

The incumbent will have strong skills with a variety of established and emerging technology as well as a desire to learn about the same. Excellent communication skills, an ability to plan programming and an ability to think on their feet will serve the incumbent well.

The position is for 10 hours per week on evenings and weekends.
