Free Craft Workshop - Pinecone Animal Making

February 23 12:00 to 1:30 pm

Come join us at a FREE WORKSHOP from noon to 1:30 pm on Sunday February 23 before Will’s Jams: Rocks & Roots.
Children will get to make their own little pinecone animals to celebrate the theme of Will’s show, with help from the friendly staff from the VISAC Gallery and Trail & District Arts Council.

Head down to the VISAC Gallery before the show to create your own animal creatures. Using items from the natural world, combined with craft materials, children will make pinecone animals – owls, lion, sheep, bats, and more. They’re super easy to make, great fun to play with and each one will always be unique and individual.

Come create the perfect pet that comes straight from your child’s imagination into their hand. A whimsical and educational arty day for your family!

Then, head up to The Bailey Theatre for 2:00 PM for CBC Kids star Will Stroet’s interactive, children’s musical show.

Make it an afternoon of fun with the 30-minute drop-in activity and the one-hour show!

Suitable for children from 4-10 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The activity is presented by the Trail & District Arts Council, and the VISAC Gallery at the gallery on the Lower Level of The Bailey Theatre.
