ROSSLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY - NEW POLICY

There are few better places than the library for children to learn and grow and we welcome and encourage children to visit, take part in programs and enjoy the good selection of children's books and other media in the library.

The Library is committed to providing a safe inclusive environment for all ages of patrons. To meet this commitment parents of children under 12 years of age are required to understand and follow Library policies.

  • Parents are responsible for overseeing the care and safety of their children at all times while in the Library.
  • Children must be within eyesight of a parent at all times.
  • A parent is required to remain with the child during a Library program.
  • A parent attending meetings on Library property must keep their children with them in the meeting.

Your cooperation and assistance in protecting the safety of your children is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
