Kootenay Avalanche Courses will run its first AST 1 of the season on Saturday/Sunday November 28-29. If you have already signed up for a later AST1, but want to get on this earlier course, please contact KAC. Based on current Provincial guidelines, we are allowed to run indoor classroom sessions, with masks when in close proximity and disinfection procedures. However, for the November 28-29 AST1, we will run the classroom portion on Zoom. We will meet in person the first day for companion rescue practice (outside location TBD) and the second day in the field.
