There is a KCTS and Winter Carnival sanctioned Fat Bike Race on the MC road, TechnoGrind, lower KC, Miners and lower Red Top trails this coming Sat Jan 30th. Due to this, these trails will be closed to general public from 11 to 2 pm on Saturday. Prior to the race, volunteers are spending many hours preparing the course. Everyone who would like to help snowshoe the trail in prior to the race is strongly encouraged however we would kindly ask that anyone who is on these trails with boots only to use discretion as depending on the conditions, bootpacking can severely damage the trail and cause ridiculous amounts of extra work.
