Much loved former Rossland folk/bluegrass quartet will be playing March 2nd at the Madhu Collective on Washington St.


Dandelion & The Ditchweeds


This band, who have travelled across Canada with their contemporary take on songs of love, loss and life will be appearing after a 5 year hiatus with some new, some old, some borrowed, some blue tunes.

Andrew Bennett - Fiddle, Cello Fiddle, Mandolin

This show will be opened by the mercurial Brad Mackay, delving into his swag of solo acoustic tunes. Well known as energetic frontman for bands Giant Water Bug (John Lee's Hooker), Lee Whiplash & The Werewolves of Thunder, 5 Horse Death etc, his softer side is three parts Gordon Lightfoot, two parts Neil Young with a pinch of Townes Van Zandt.


Due to the intimate size of this venue,  there are only 40 tickets available.

Why does such an excellent gig like this have to play head to head on the same night that Remi Bolduc jazz ensemble is playing the Miners hall and Pigs on the wing is playing the Bailey?

Can't we have quality entertainment two nights in a row instead?
