Family Day at Trail Silver City Days

Get out your sunscreen, wear a hat, and bring the whole family down to sunny Gyro Park from noon until 3 pm for Family Day at Trail Silver City Days as we celebrate Mother's Day with three hours of fun!

Kicking off the event with music for the whole family to dance to is DJ Bass Cat.

Followed by mini circus shows and workshops from Circus West. Performances are at 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm. Plus, try your hand at a choice of circus tools through guided workshops at noon and 1:15 pm.

Still looking for the right present for your Mom? Kids can join us at the Mother's Day Arts and Crafts tent run by the VISAC Art Gallery. Come and make a gift for someone special in your life. Experiment with watercolour paints and stamps to create the perfect springtime bookmark!

Wander the Park and visit the Living Statue Garden where beautiful wearable art comes to life. Wait and watch to see our statues come to life when you least expect it.

Handing out flowers for Mother's Day will be our friends from RE/MAX All Pro Realty in Trail!

Trail Family and Individual Resource Centre Society (FAIR) will be hosting a play area for kids with their obstacle course type layout with large toys for smaller children.

Continuing the tradition of great food at Silver City Days, Family Day will have snacks from freeze-dried candy to the Royal Theatre’s popcorn and Rotary Caramel Corn. For something more substantial taste Kiwanis burgers and hotdogs and Ticca Tikka’s Indo-Italian food. Plus ice-cream and Kootenay Cannoli’s Italian pastries for dessert for you to enjoy!
