Readers might wonder what goes on behind the scenes when writers are putting together their books. Leesa Dean will bring you through a 12-year journey that involves New York City and Montreal, a brief moment of Twitter fame, giving up, quitting giving up, and eventually bringing this beautifully handcrafted book into the world. The craft talk will be interspersed with readings of poems that are rooted in a striking geographical landscape--humid Brazilian jungles in the rainy season, the arid and psychedelic Desert of Itabira, and of course a filling station./
