TDAC is now hiring an Executive Director

Job Posting: Executive Director Trail and District Arts Council is pleased to invite applications for the Executive Director position. The Trail and District Arts Council (TDAC) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to foster the arts in Greater Trail, as well as provide services and resources to our local affiliated arts, cultural, and heritage organizations. Operating from the Greater Trail Community Centre, TDAC manages The Bailey Theatre and has been presenting shows and events for over 54 years. TDAC is committed to bringing diverse and well-rounded professional programming to the West Kootenay region.
The Executive Director will be the ambassador of TDAC and reports to the board of directors. The ED is responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Bailey Theatre, including fundraising, financial planning, budgeting, staffing, volunteers and community engagement. An ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years of experience in Arts Facility Management and/or Non-Profit Executive Direction as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cultural Administration or equivalent experience in a related field. Advanced training in Business and Administration would be an asset. This job works collaboratively with the Artistic Director to deliver TDAC programming and services.
