Record Ridge Mine Comment period -closes May 28

I have received email confirmation from the Ministry of Mines that the public comment period for the Record Ridge Open Pit Mine Application along the Seven Summits Trail closes May 28. Please submit all your comments and concerns to:

Chief Inspector of Mines, Ministry of Energy and Mines and Low Carbon Innovation: mmd-cranbrook@gov.bc.ca

This is different from the EAO process which is open May 15-June 14. This review is in consideration of whether the project should undergo environmental assessment specifically.

If you do not want this open pit mine, this is our last chance to comment on record. A permit for the project is what follows the Minstry of Mines process. Please make your voice heard!
