Hi there! Im Tasha owner of Mountain Paws Dog Care here in Rossland.Before moving to Rossland I was in the Dog Care industry professionally, full time, for almost 20 years. I founded, built up and sold 3 dog walking, boarding, daycare & training businesses; Poochike Adventures, Outward Hound & Dog Zen.  Dogs are in my soul & caring and advocating for them is my passion!

Now, here in Rossland, (and Warfield, Trail, Montrose) I offer:

WHY MENTAL STIMULATION? Because meeting your dogs basic needs by physically AND mentally stimulating your dog = a happy, well behaved and content dog! After 2 weeks of my hikes a minimum of 3x a week you will see a great positive change in your dog at home and out on walks!

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME:

My experience includes education in various philosophies of dog training, canine behaviour, nutrition, and mentoring. I hold certificates in DogSafe Canine 1st Aid and some veternary First Aid courses. I have Occupational 1st Aid Level 3, Wilderness Rescue, a degree in Outdoor Recreation Management and am trained as an Outdoor Guide. I am an environmental steward and operate my businesses in the same conscientious manner. My experience and true love for dogs enables me to offer exceptional care and safety for your beloved pooch! Our dogs are truly our babies so I fully understand & respect your concerns & the love you have for your babies!
