AboutJen has just finished her second year with Alberta College of Massage Therapy and is working towards her BC Registered Massage Therapist designation. She completed both years achieving Honors with Distinction and is enjoying assisting clients in their journey to increased mobility. Jen uses a mixture of general Swedish massage techniques alongside therapeutic techniques such as myofacial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, active and passive release and more to help mitigate stress, reduce muscle tension, increase whole body mobility and encourage relaxation. She has 15+ years of experience as a personal and group fitness instructor, and is a registered yoga teacher who until recently owned a Hot Yoga Studio in the East Kootenays When she isn’t busy learning or working she is having fun exploring the Rossland area with her husband, kids and new puppy. She moved from the East Kootenays a few years ago and loves to mountain bike, ski, hike and camp, among many other activities. She is very excited to be continuously expanding her knowledge and is looking forward to creating connections within the community and assisting is furthering clients health and wellness Town: Rossland, BC |
