I work as a nurse at the Trail hospital. We sometimes have patients suffering with dementia. Is there any handy folks out there who could make and donate a dementia board? This is an activity board which sits on the lap or across wheelchair handles and has many fidgetty things to do. You can see the idea on Google. It has to be safe - rounded edges, no splinters, no removable parts, and withstand strong chemical spraying between patients. It could be make of old knobs and locks and things around the house. Even old gadgets you might find at Tech might work - switches and the like - to help our patients who worked as engineers. Thoughts... Ideas...?
