Does Rossland have a fire prevention plan?

Does anyone know if Rossland has a fire prevention plan? Does such a thing exist? My search on the city website came up with very little.

yes, I have also been looking for an evacution plan or even how will they contact residents. Seems like something that should be addressed after the events the last few days. does anyone attached to the fire department of the city know of any info on the subject ???

I lived in the Paradise, California area before their fire. The environment was similar to Rossland. High mountain town with lots of vegitation. That fire travelled at 80mph. After that fire, the state started power outages for any area which reaches certain wind speeds across the state. We got used to this rule and expected these outages. Though we don't have the wind, we could take a lesson from the forestry industry. I think they don't allow mid-day activities because of fire danger.

I would like to see a city ban on outdoor industry mid-day when temperatures are expected to reach over 35 degrees (or whatever the science indicates). This would include BBQ's, lawn mowers, weed eaters, construction, dirt moving, etc. Also, even car engines which are parked over overgrown grass can spark fires in those temps.
