Trail & District Arts Council presents the Marc Atkinson Trio with Cameron Wilson on Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 7:30 pm at the Rossland Miners Hall.

Marc Atkinson is a masterful acoustic guitarist who combines lyricism, precision, and technical expertise into a distinctive voice. A founding member of Canada’s roots/acoustic music super group, The Bills, he is a Juno nominee and winner of two Western Canadian Music Awards, including a nomination for Outstanding Album.

The Marc Atkinson Trio, is an internationally renowned acoustic trio described by Jurgen Goethe as “one of the top ten of the world’s working string trios.”, whose album “Marc Atkinson Trio II”, was voted one of the top five albums in North America by Acoustic Guitar Magazine.

The current Trio includes Jody Rutherford on guitar and Scott White on bass. And for this performance they’re being joined by Cameron Wilson, a violinist and composer known for his genre-crossing virtuosity and near-limitless musical creativity and he’s recorded with everyone from Bryan Adams to Spirit of the West.Check out some of their music on YouTube.
