Chess club for kids (or adults) in Rossland?

I took a look through the list of community organisations in Rossland, but didn't see a chess club. I was wondering if there is perhaps a chess club or chess school going on somewhere I may not be aware of (library, museum, schools etc) . My son and I are both beginners, but would like to improve our game. Thanks!

My teen loves to play and I seem to be totally incapable. Post again if you find a group or want to start one.

All of my kids play and we have been wanting a chess club in town for sometime! Last year RSS hinted at a chess club but when I inquired further I didn't even get a response so I guess it didn't happen....

Maybe we figure out how to start an independently casually run parent-led club?
