We would like to invite all community members and council candidates to a meet and great in Esling park this coming Thursday at 6 pm. Bring your ideas, discuss concerns, or simply listen in to the conversation.

The Rotary Club of Rossland will be hosting an All Candidate's Forum on Wednesday, October 5th from 6:30 to 9pm at RSS. All are welcome to attend that as well.

Wonderful these forums are happenng. Unfortunate they're on the same night as "Discover Rossland," 5:30 - 7:30 at the Miner's Hall, which will introduce both old timers and newcomers to volunteer opportunities and services in Rossland. Well, people could come for the first 30 minutes anyway, then head over to the park at 6 PM, and then to RSS at 6:30 PM! Make it a real community-focused evening!

Sept. 22, Thursday
5:30 - 7:30: Discover Rossland (volunteer opportunities) (Miner's Hall)

6:00: Council candidates & community members (Esling Park Lodge)


Oct. 5th, Wednesday, 6:30 - 9:00: All Candidate's Forum (RSS)

Great that there is a candidat meet and greet, just too bad that it is on the same evening as the Discover Rossland event which has been in the works for several weeks.  There are some really great projects happening in Rossland and this is an opportunity for local citizens to learn about them and how they can support them.
