The Greater Trail Hospice Society (GTHS) is looking for a dynamic, self-starting individual who can work both alone and as a team member.



The successful applicant would work under and report to the GTHS Board.  The position would continue and build on the groundwork established over the last two years.  Working from home, and in a shared GTHS office this position recruits and trains volunteers, offers education and training and is expected to be able to present information about the program to various groups.

 

An understanding of Hospice would be beneficial with a background in the medical or social services sector.  Experience in team management, public speaking, office procedures and working with a non-profit organization would be an asset.

 

The position is part-time, 15 – 20 hours a week with some flexibility around the days and time worked.  There is the ability to work from home, but some time would be in the GTHS office.
