New parking rules for Centennial trailhead?

The last paragraph about accommodating their private projects almost reads as if this is a sign put up as a joke by someone.

Thankyou for bringing this to everyone's attention. To paraphrase ODELL Freedom dies by people just taking a little bit more and little bit more and we end up in a situation saying how did we get here? At some point down the line we have to practice civil disobedience and say NO! I will not comply!

Where's my munching on popcorn

Where's my munching on popcorn emoji?

"Due to unforeseen circumstances"  lol

Anyone else here easily foresee those circumstances coming for the last few years?

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES????

This is beyond parody.

LOL @ the people getting baited by AI

Wait, is today April 1st ?

No way someone paid $1000 for a sign only for the City to cut it down hours later

I don't get it? How will bylaw officers know if you've parked and taken the shuttle? what if I park there and walk/snowshoe or xc ski to the hill for any plausable reason such as the shuttle is full by the time it gets to the top of town? will there be a parking attendant stationed there ensuring that people park efficiently and with consideration to others? Is this going to be enforced around the clock or during lift operation hours only?

here is where I would add some snide remark about common sense being so uncommon it should be considered a super power, but I will refrain and await any logical explanation

Must be a prank...

Please note: That sign you see is not an initiative of the City. It was not authorized or approved by any employee or official of the City. Whoever did it must have thought they were the sign of the times, but alas, their wit missed any official stamp of approval!

Bahahaha! Good one Harlan! Perfect chuckle on a rainy day.

Sinjin, there really does need to be a munching on popcorn emoji- we are a town full of fun loving peeps

This totally got me. Gotta respect the dedication. haha

Well done..   we need a bit of humour these days...

I mean, they went full in on this. Have to admire that kind of commitment.
