SKUNK HELP! Know anyone who would know how to find and remove a skunk from my basement?

There's a skunk in our basement, we cannot find it after looking everywhere.  Can anyone recommend someone who might have some experience with finding and removing it?  This is not good, we access the home through our basement and right now it's closed off from the rest of the house.  Sure would appreciate any leads to someone who may know how to get rid of it!  Thanks in advance. I have a live cage trap that I can lend you, not willing to trap it myself for obvious reasons.  As far as I know, if a skunk dies from a neurological interupt (broken neck from a killing trap or mead trauma etc) it will cause a spray release.  If it dies from cardiac interupt (shooting it in the heart) it won't cause a spray release, not sure if that helps.  My number is 250-231-9790

Skunks are nocturnal. Leave the door open in the afternoon/evening. Then go down and close the door late at night when they are out hunting for food.
