En Famille International student exchange programme reaches out to families in Trail
Submitted by Viv Hurley on Fri, 01/11/2019 - 11:35am
There are many local families who have completed successful exchanges abroad with En Famille International and their children have learnt far more than just a new language! The benefits are vast - they gain greater independence, individuality and cultural awareness; the experience helps to broaden their horizons; they become more flexible, sociable and adaptable to change and as interesting global citizens of the future they will stand out from the rest of the crowd which is a bonus when it comes to career development. My own teenage children have completed successful exchanges to France and Spain and as Canada's new EFI representative, living in Rossland, I will be holding an En Famille International information event in town on Saturday, 16th November (12 Noon at the heritage building with the red tiled roof on 2110 First Ave). It aims to give families the opportunity to find out more about the fully immersive 3 - 6 month student exchanges we arrange for children aged 8 - 15 and to meet those who have already completed them. EFI is a not for profit organisation with 40 years' experience of arranging exchanges with matched families in France, Germany, Mexico and Spain, so you will be in good hands! Please contact Vivienne Hurley on 250-921-6290 or e-mail Vivienne@enfamille.com to register your interest or if you have any questions about the exchange programme. Town: Trail, BC Photos:
