Spectator Safety Guidelines for the Sonny Samuelson Bobsled Race

To all the amazing spectators attending the Sonny Samuelson Bobsled Race: thank you for being an essential part of this thrilling event! Your enthusiasm and support make this day unforgettable. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone, we ask all spectators to follow these guidelines:

1. Stay Outside the Course and Behind Fence Lines

  • For your safety and the safety of our athletes, do not enter the course or cross any marked boundaries unless directed by an event marshal.
  • Stay behind the designated fences or barriers at all times.

2. Use Designated Crossing Points Only

  • There are designated crossing points for spectators to safely move from one side of the course to the other.
  • Please wait for instructions from marshals at these crossing points before crossing the course.

3. Keep Pets In-Control and On-Leash

  • We love seeing your furry friends enjoying the day, but all pets must be on a leash and under control at all times.
  • Ensure pets remain at a safe distance from the course to avoid any disruptions.

4. Your Role in Event Safety

  • Spectators play a critical role in the safety and success of this event. By following these guidelines, you help create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, including athletes, staff, and fellow spectators.
  • Encourage safe behavior among other spectators:
    • Fix fallen fence lines or fill gaps if you see them.
    • Politely remind others to use designated crossing areas.
    • Raise any safety concerns directly with race officials or marshals to help address them quickly.

Let’s make this a race to remember! Thank you for being a part of the Sonny Samuelson Bobsled Race, and for helping us ensure it runs smoothly and safely.
