Red Mountain Racers Masters- now open for Registrations

The Red Mountain Racers Masters Group is a fun night out for adults of all ability levels. This is a no pressure group – and you can be as competitive or aggressive as you wish. The lighting is low which is great for those of you who are a little bit more shy in the gates. Coach Brent Hahn puts together an 8 week progressive curriculum designed to introduce or strengthen your gate skiing skills. We ski at RED Mountain Resort on Thursday nights on the t-bar from 6pm to 9pm, and then congregate in Rafters where we discuss our form. Ski passes are not included and can be purchased at the resort, however appies in Rafters are included. GS Race skis are suggested and can be purchased at a great price at the annual ski swap. Helmets are mandatory. We offer three programs- a 4, 6 or 8 week program. As this is a Red Mountain Racer program all memberships must include an Alpine Canada membership which means that the memberships are non-transferrable. In addition all participants are asked to volunteer one day toward the club- and there are many fun opportunities to do this. The dates for 2019 are: January 10th, 17, 24, 31, Feb 7, 14, 21, 28 The Red Mountain Racers Masters will also be taking a team to the Over The Hill Downhill at Silverstar from January 29- February 3rd.
