HEAD BARTENDER WANTED - PART TIME

The Rossland Legion is looking for a part time head bartender.  Duties include:

 

  1. Staff Scheduling.
  2. Beer order online and Liquor store.
  3. Chip order and grocery shopping.
  4. Janitorial and bar cleaning and commercial products online ordering. 
  5. Events promotion with posters, tickets, and updating Facebook etc.
  6. Inter-communication with bar staff regarding procedures, changes, special circumstances.
  7. Inter-communication with Bar Committee or Legion Executive Committee regarding anything that falls under the scope of a Bar Manager’s dominion.
  8. Updating online events calendar.
  9. Tracking and communication about checks that need to be written for events and specialized staff invoicing.
  10. Ensure proper operations and procedures are followed by all staff, in accordance with liquor laws and legion protocol.
  11. Handling and reviewing incidents regarding the bar staff and/or patrons.
  12. Troubleshooting and determining courses of action for issues that arise with the bar/ sound system.
  13. Maintain good working communications with Legion’s Bar Manager and Bar Committee or Executive Committee.

Hours range from 20 to 30 hours per week.  Wages negotiable.

FYI: Under BC's Pay Transparency Act passed on May 11, 2023, as of November 1, 2023, all employer's in BC must include the expected pay or the expected pay range for a specific job opportunity that they advertise publicly.
