Ecological Gardening Workshop

Exciting News! Workshop format and dates changed!!
I heard you loud and clear! Many of you showed interest in my workshop but shared that September is a busy time with kiddos going back to school and the reality of returning to the routine and work after a summer of fun. I get it!
So, the format has been adjusted to a one evening workshop instead of three and the timing is that I can catch you before you do your "Fall Cleanup".
Why Attend? Fall is here, and you might be dreading what’s ahead with your garden after a summer away. The term “Fall Cleanup” makes me cringe (Let's change it to "Fall Flip") because it implies that tending to our garden is a chore and that it is either “dirty” or “clean” when really it's about doing a few things to prep for winter, but less is more! Traditional gardening practices often don’t align with addressing the current biodiversity crisis and climate change impacts. As a result, many people unknowingly do more harm than good.
This workshop will teach you easy, pollinator-friendly ways to care for your garden this fall, which often translate to doing less, giving you more time to enjoy the season.
What You’ll Learn: How to manage your garden in this fall with positive environmental impacts. Support local pollinators and wildlife. Protect our local water supply. Implement Ecological Gardening practices for a healthier garden and planet.
This workshop isn’t about shaming or judging anybody —it’s about learning and growing together. Let’s make every action count!
Register now and secure your spot on Rossland Recreation website! Let’s transform our gardens and make a positive impact together while doing what’s best for the precious pollinators and embracing that doing less is better! Photos:
