Heat pump recommendations

Looking at installing a heat pump in my old house. Anyone have recommendations on type and who to deal with?

what type depends on your situation and house, but we got split minis. They work awesome (Even at -20).

We went through the whole process with the Rossland Retrofit program a couple of years ago.  They helped guide us through the process of applying for grants and hooked us up with grant-approved contractors.  CGM installed our mini-splits (I believe they are based in Nelson)

I highly recommend a local company, Curlew Refrigeration. They are reliable & knowledgeable, & even collect the rebate for you.
