This New Year, Almeda Glenn Miller and Danielle Hachey are joining creative forces to offer a truly unique series!
Participants will respond and write to poems and readings, with their own writing, as they uncover what is truly felt through various somatic practices, movement, yoga and meditation and breath-work. We ask that you bring a pen and paper to each session and wear comfortable clothing.
Topics for exploration:
-How do words, rhythm and music make meaning in poetry?
-What is the language of the heart?
-How does poetry bring voice to those who don’t have one?
-Protests, Rants, incantations: Political Poetry for Change
-Where do my words belong?
