Music & Pizza night at the Grind with Steve Brockley!

We’re having another great music night coming up at the Grind! But, incredibly, it's already sold out just from our email list! SO we're looking at doing a SECOND SHOW on Sunday, February 9th, if there's enough interest!

New Rosslander Steve Brockley (lucky us!), with Trent Freeman and Patrick M’Gonigle will be performing, making them the first musicians playing our new removable wall stage setup!

"A songwriter who can really pick guitar – a guitar picker that can really write a song." After leaving B.C. to cut his teeth on the stages of Toronto and Montreal, Steve Brockley put in time as a hired gun on guitar before releasing a record of his own originals. Now back in the Kootenays – three albums in with number four on the way, Brockley has recently leaned even harder into the traditional roots of the music he loves – resulting in a string band lineup with heavy bluegrass instrumentation. Joined by Juno-award-winning fiddler Trent Freeman (The Fretless) along with one of Nashville’s top calls, Patrick M’Gonigle, on mandolin and fiddle, expect to hear some flatpicking, fingerpicking, harmonies, world-class fiddling, and songs good enough for other songwriters to cover.
“Twangy roots with sonic touchstones including JJ Cale and Bob Dylan” -Exclaim

John and Finn will be making their delicious thin-crust pizzas, and wine and beer will be available.
Doors open at 6 and the music will start when the pizzas are done - between 7:30 and 8.

Email Shelley at sackerman(at)telus.net asap and let me know if you're interested! Tickets will be $25 each (doesn’t include pizza or alcohol).
