Forklift Operator Training

Get Forked BC offers mobile forklift operator training & certification. 

We'll come to your worksite and train your employees to become compliant with the CSA B335-15 safety standard for lift trucks.

Training covers Class 1, 4, and 5 Standard Counter Balance Forklifts. We also offer training on the Class 7 Rough Terrain Telehandler Forklift

Using the iVES training program, we'll teach your staff how to become safe, confident, and competent forklift operators.

The iVES training program is an 8-12 hour course (depending on participant experience level) and consists of 2 parts. 

Part 1: (Classroom) Equipment Theory

- the rules & regulations

- types of forklifts

- main parts & control systems

- specifications

- capacity/load charts

- stability pyramid/issues

- job preparation

- safe operation

- post operation

- final written theory exam (70% + to pass) 

Part 2:

- practical hands on training - pre trip & worksite inspections

- practical hands on training - skills assessment & road test

Upon successful completion of the course students will receive an 8x11 wall mountable certificate as well as a wallet card valid for 3 years and accepted across Canada and the USA
